- Series Info - Here you will find info that pertains to whole Phoenix Sage Saga©. This includes Series info, Volume Titles, and Terminology used throughout the series.	Series - The Phoenix Sage Saga is a 9 volume epic that follows a family's bloodline. The series takes a new scientific look at the fantasy genre. The series will also be more realistic in terms of events and plot. This of course means that there won't always be a happy ending. Volumes - Each of the 9 volumes is a different story that takes place in a different time period and follows a new generation in the Corsair bloodline. Of course, the "Corsair" surname changes over the generations. Each of the 9 Volumes of the series contains 12 chapters. Here is a list of the volume titles and the year they take place in: VOL. 1 - 1021 A.D. - SEPARATE SERAPHIM VOL. 2 - 1562 A.D. - PRIORESS VOL. 3 - 2006 A.D. - SHADOW FAITH VOL. 4 - 2089 A.D. - CELESTIAL SILENCE VOL. 5 - 2166 A.D. - SAGE ASSASSIN VOL. 6 - 2367 A.D. - HUNTER'S BURDEN The final 3 volumes of the series follows one story. Volumes 7 and 8 take place at the same time, but are from a different points of view. Volume 9 is the conclusion of the story. The events and the full story of the 3 volumes is called THE CIRCLE OF OUR SINS. VOL. 7 - 2566 A.D. - PHOENIX FUSION VOL. 8 - 2566 A.D. - SERAPHIM TEAR VOL. 9 - 2567 A.D. - MARTYR OF GUILT TERMS - The Prime Material Plane- The plane of existence that we exsist on. Objects on this plane are tangible. The Ethereal Plane- An endless plane of existence that souls and energy exist on. This plane overlaps the Prime Material Plane, and in some places intersects. The "System of Life"- This is a legend that is mentioned throughout the series. The legend speaks of how the life-force or "Souls" of a being is sent along upon death. As the soul leaves the body, it will encounter a creature that is dubbed by the living as "Death". The meeting will take place on a plane between the Prime Material and the Ethereal. This is where the being will peer into the soul and give it one of three choices. 1) Should the soul feel it has lived its life to the fullest, the soul will be allowed to rest on the Ethereal Plane. There, a vision of what the soul's "Heaven" or "Hell" is will be created for it. The out-come of a "Heaven" or "Hell" will be decided by the soul's conscience. 2) If a soul feels it has unfinished business that will not let it rest easily, "Death" will allow the soul to return to the Material Plane. The form in which it returns in(such as a ghost)will be decided by the soul itself. Once the soul's mission is complete, a choice will not be given and they will travel to its "heaven" on the Ethereal Plane. 3) Should a soul not have any unfinished business but wish to return to the living, Death will grant them the gift of Resurrection. The being will promptly be reborn with their memory erased. A Phoenix Soul- Should a soul have the luck to choose Resurrection numerous times, the soul itself will mature into what is called "A Phoenix Soul". This soul will no longer receive a choice upon death and will resurrect forever. Only, when the soul is reborn, it's memories will not be wiped clean and will remember everything. A Phoenix Sage- A Phoenix Soul in a living body. Many Phoenix Sages use their knowledge of their past lives to live as Mentors or Prophets.

The Prime Material Plane-
The plane of existence that we exsist on. Objects on this plane
